History about MINDCare and Our Team
MINDCare Professional Consulting resulted after years
of working in the traditional mental health field. Our mission is to increase
awareness and knowledge about psychological health care and decrease
the negative stigma in society regarding mental health and mental illness.
Everyone
has mental health. If everyone could asses, understand, and manage
psychological well being better, society would be much healthier and safer. The primary focus
is to make education and information more accessible, convenient, and affordable regarding psychological health. Education and information is provided by interactive professional counseling, consulting, and coaching.
Everyone deserves to learn about they way
they think, feel, and behave. Also everyone must understand that
psychological health is an integral component of overall health.
Since
psychological health is the result of genetics and learning, it is
imperative that adults especially parents are more educated and better
skilled to teach their children (all youth) healthy ways
to think, feel, and behave.
Education enhances
and improves overall cognitive, emotional, and behavioral health (in
other words psychological health). Many behaviors, such as abuse,
chronic arguing, aggression, addiction, divorce, violence, homicide,
crime, suicide, and negative feelings, such as sadness, guilt, anger,
fear, anxiety, and worry strongly indicate the acute need for MINDCare
services.
Please
give psychological health some thought and if you are a parent or if
you interact with youth on a regular please consider the impact of your interactions with them on
their psychological development and health.
